Dear Friends of Fabric
Welcome to Fabric 4 Less
For the past 4 ½ years I have been collecting fabric for quilters and sewers all over the world. Some folks just come by a couple times a year and some come by a couple times a month! You know how that is. In my other virtual store, Fabrics of the World, I bring in some wonderful collections from the designers and manufacturers that are new for each season. There are over 900 bolts of fabric in my studio at all times.
Now with the introduction of Fabric 4 Less, my goal is to be able to supply you with the same top quality fabric but at a reduced price. All of the fabric in this virtual store has been reduced by the manufacturer and I just pass the savings on to you.
Sometimes quilters wonder why the fabric is so inexpensive when the average yard of fabric is now $8.50. Well manufacturers have over runs, more of some fabric in some collections as others, and a whole variety of other reasons. They need to clear their warehouses to make room for the new lines. You may find two or three or more pieces of a collection at the reduced price. Sometimes more. When collections come out each year they may contain 30 or 40 different pieces, sometimes almost 100! Not every color and design gets ordered at the same rate, hence there are left overs. Great fabric, just too much. I bet you can relate. Now you will get the opportunity to add to your projects for much less. Or maybe you don't want to put a lot of money into some of your small gift quilts. Here is the perfect way to do that
The supply will grow as the first virtual store has grown. So do remember to come back often.
I know there isn't much about me in this letter, but I'm about fabric.
Again, Welcome to Fabric 4 Less. Let me know if there is something more I can help you with.

Here I am doing my favorite thing, working with fabric.
I have two cutting tables and even though I usually work alone,
I manage to use both of them at the same time. |
|
This is the famous fat quarter wall, it's a little over 10 feet long with shelves and shelves of fat quarters. Many of the local quilters come by to browse this wall. |
Here you see 3 of the 18 utility shelves that presently hold over 900 bolts of fabric. Most of which at this time are the regular retail priced fabric found on Fabrics of the World web site. |
